Advanced Training for Farsi Interpreters (Part 2)

Once again, we’ve teamed up with the Judicial Council of California to offer an advanced training event for Farsi interpreters on July 8-9, 2017

We’ve expanded and enhanced the curriculum to offer challenging exercises in all three modes of interpretation to prepare attendees for the most challenging interpreting situations. Benefit from a customized curriculum developed by Agustín de la Mora, a nationally recognized interpreting trainer, and an expert Farsi-language interpreter and SME.

This event will feature intensive, hands-on exercises in all three modes of interpretation in a professional language lab setting.

This customized curriculum builds heavily on the training events offered for Farsi interpreters in the past, and allows students to take their skills to the next level with directed self-study. Explore all three modes of interpretation in unprecedented detail, including strategies for consecutive interpretation and discussions of the similarities and differences between sight translation and simultaneous interpretation. During this event, you will be invited to build your own glossary, using provided exercises covering  all three modes of interpretation, and leave with a roadmap for ongoing self-improvement.

Best of all, the Judicial Council is subsidizing this event so you can attend for only $395 $85!

Contact us below for more details.

Note: this event is for registered California Farsi interpreters. A waitlist will be available for other interested students.
